Family-built trust network

Meet more families without leaving trust behind.

Sorrello helps households discover people they might otherwise never meet, while still moving through mutual families, shared interests, local events, and accountable invitations.

Oikos, household, and belonging

A homeschool family's journey toward wider, rooted community.

Scripture often speaks of the household, the oikos, as a place of faith and hospitality. Sorrello begins there: with families who want real introductions, shared tables, church communities, and slow-earned trust to reach farther without becoming less human.

By one household, for many households

  • Built from one homeschool family's need to expand their circle through trustworthy people.
  • Designed to augment real life connection, not replace parents, pastors, friends, meals, and wise introductions.
  • Rooted in a nonprofit posture: family data is never the product.

Visibility follows trust distance

No global people search. No public marketplace of personal details. Every field has a trust boundary.

1st

Direct families

Fullest household context, private messages, activities, members, interests, and Hearth Mode details when enabled.

2nd

Mutual families

Shared household context and the mutual family who can make an accountable introduction.

3rd

Extended community

A light preview: family name, city, and limited Hearth Mode signals only when a household chooses to share them.

Shared life

Events make discovery human again.

Families can host service days, meals, study groups, co-op activities, and local gatherings visible only to the trust tiers they choose. The software is meant to strengthen the living room, the church hall, the trailhead, and the dinner table, not replace them.

Data is never the business model

Sorrello is built with a nonprofit posture. The point is to serve families, not sell attention, rank people, or monetize private household data.

Hearth Mode

A thoughtful signal for intentional member connections.

Hearth Mode is for members who are future-minded and seeking to foster deeper individual relationships within community. It gives a member more visibility for conversation, photos, interests, and context, while still keeping visibility shaped by 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trust tiers.

Gentle by design

A member can invite deeper conversation without becoming a public profile.

Mutual-first

Introductions still move through families who can offer context, care, and accountability.

Connected to real life

Shared interests and events create natural settings to meet people who may not have otherwise crossed paths.

Why Sorrello

Like sorrel, growth is rooted, organic, and networked.

Sorrello takes inspiration from sorrel: a humble plant with roots, runners, and quiet networks of growth. Families can plant, water, and introduce, but God gives the growth. Pronounce it sor-REL-lo, with the accent on the second syllable.

"So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth."
1 Corinthians 3:7
